Cadden, supplyer of professionnal systems for positionning and orientation, present its new GIS solution : SigmaX, a software dedicated to navigation and data acquisition in the field, and to complete all GIS applications.
SigmaX is made of 2 softwares.
SigmaX Nomade runs on a PDA with a Windows CE Operating System. SigmaX can be processed with all GPS receivers using NMEA or THALES data. The user records the survey (points, lines and surfaces) with a user friendly interface, and the real-time meter or sub-meter accuracy of the GPS receiver. SigmaX gives the opportunity to collect position and specific informations, to calculate distances and surfaces, and to see in real time all data recorded.
SigmaX Office is a Windows based software for PC. The user is able to prepare the project (cartography, dictionary,...), and when back at the office, export all data in the GIS .
