Trinity : Intelligent GPS System

Trinity : a new system for data geo-referencing

Nantes, 27th of april, 2006. Cadden, a company specialised in electronic measurement systems for positioning, orientation and navigation, starts the commercialisation of a new equipment conceived to synchronise data from many sensors, regarding the 3D and the Universal Time Clock.

« Intelligent GPS system »
By integrating acquisition and synchronisation, in one single equipement, of high precision GPS positioning and measurement data, Cadden offers a completely new product at this level of integration.

Depending on the survey, this new system is connected to one or more external sensors such as motion and attitude sensor, gyrocompass, inclinometer or odometer. All the input/output possibilities give the opportunity to log and synchronise other types of data.

Compared to traditional tools, the preparation and the use are easy and more efficient to process the acquisition on the field, thanks to the all-in-one capacity.

A flexible and portable system
This lightweight (1.2 kg) and compact (18x10x4.5 cm) equipment is dedicated to mobile surveys, used either on a man or on a small unmanned vehicule. Many applications, such as trajectory analysis, guidance, navigation, geodesy, environmental survey... are concerned by Trinity.

Trinity is the result of a successfull cooperation between Cadden, at the origin of the project, and Synervia, a company specialised in technology transfert between university and industrial world. Many units should be delivered this year in France and Europe.
