Geod PPU
Geod PPU transmits the navigation data to the pilot’s laptop via a wireless LAN connection (WiFi). The pilot has full access to the navigation data all over the bridge. Using special piloting software, the ship’s position is overlaid onto official electronic charts to display position, speed vector, heading, rate of turn and motion prediction – everything needed to support safe maneuvring in small areas.
