High Interest for Inertial Motion Sensor
Inertial Motion Sensor MTI seduces on all fronts.
Since its launch in May 2005, the success of XSENS's inertial motion sensor MTI has grown constantly. About 100 parts have been delivered already, people being seduced by its miniature size which fits in a match box.
The compactness of the product is a decisive strength for many applications, especially :
- scientific research (for one third of the equipments) : study of AUV's attitude,
- simulation of towing of fishing equipment
- high level sailing : study of boats behaviour while racing
- industrial R&D : study of AUV's attitude, buoys, cameras, etc...
Usable on earth, over sea or in the air, this tiny inertial motion sensor is fully polyvalent.
Cadden expands its rental offer.
To complement its current rental offer based on high standard bathymetric equipment, Cadden has in recent weeks, expanded its offer to include a solution for accurate positioning and orientation for land applications, based on IXSEA's new inertial navigation system, Landins. Real time acquisitions given by this very accurate sensor will serve a wide range of applications such as : roads or train survey, mining extraction, accurate GIS, or dynamic vehicles tests.
Thales Navigation becomes Magellan Inc. involving a new dynamic.
Magellan Navigation Inc. (ex Thales Navigation) is one of Cadden's first partners for GPS equipment. Last October, Thales Navigation announced that its activities had been taken over by an American investing fund, Shah Capital. Very positive, this change of shareholders brings a new dynamic to the company, and creates new opportunities for the coming years.
New effects will come up already in 2007 with the acceleration of projects in progress and the launching of several new products during the year.
Requests for Z-MAX (Magellan Professional) have increased these last 3 months, especially for mixed applications combining bathymetry and trajectography or topography.
Sales department expands with the arrival of Yves Tafforin.
Yves joined the team in December. He will take charge of national and international Sales development, but his primary responsibilities will imply creation and animation of the distributors for products manufactured by Cadden such as Trinity, ..
