R2Sonic : a new generation of multibeam echosounder
Sonic 2024 is the spearhead from the brand new R2Sonic multibeam echosounder company. Following its demonstration during Ocean Business 2009, it confirms all the technical specifications promised: high resolution, high update rate, selectable frequencies on-the-fly from 200 to 400 KHz, low power consumption, compacity, low weight… The elimination of separate processors and interface bottles makes this sonar well suited for quick calibration on small boat, AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) installation. Official French Dealer, Cadden will start a French Road Trip for demonstrations, on inland waters and in harbours (Pornic, Brest, Marseille…).

French university based in Brest, ENSIETA is an European well-known institution due to its high quality trainings and the high technical knowledge of the students.
Undiscovered treasures… soon detected ?
DRASSM, The French Marine and Sub-marine Archeological Department, has purchased a dual system for their research, including a magnetometer Seaspy and a Klein 3900. The Klein 3900 is a high resolution side scan sonar, dedicated to Search and Discovery of small objects, Harbour Security...
INGEO, a French engineering company specialised in Bathymetry, has made the choice of the excellence purchasing a new Klein 3900 for its imagery of bottom and side banks in river and harbours.
Mobile GIS with a Back Pack

The C3A system is provided with the latest ArcPAd version (Toolbar Manager for modification or creation, StreetMap improvements). The C3A solution offers high accuracy (less than 60cm in real time) and insure an excellent GPS signal reception, due to the GPS antenna fixed above the operator at the same height.
Options available : a Laser distance meter and a Digital camera, two relevant tools for most of the GIS data collection.
