System integration

Besides our Technical department highly involved in integration and testing of complex acquisition systems (LIDAR, acoustic imagery…), CADDEN owns its Research & Development department

Our technical department is involved in many stages of our sales and rental activities such as pre-sales advice, training, start-up assistance and after-sales support (repair, maintenance, aso.).

This investment along each step of the way gives us the capacity to define highly accurate measurement systems by integrating and synchronising sensors using different technologies and from different suppliers.

Bringing solutions to our clients’ specific requests is a genuine discipline, systems integration, to cater for the different issues.

The Integrated Hydrographics Pack is an example of an integration project to fulfil the needs of a single client’s project which has become a reference for bathymetric systems for use by shipbuilding yards or decision makers; a turnkey solution, fully developed by Cadden, composed of 3 main technologies:

  • a R2Sonic multibeam echosounder, the core of the bathymetric system,
  • an attitude sensor (heading, roll, pitch, heave),
  • a DGNSS RTK receiver for the accurate location.

The creation of a fully fledged Research & Development department was a natural progression for Cadden, to anticipate our clients’ future needs and offer turnkey and bespoke solutions.
