All these solutions require metrology sensors used to sense the immediate environment, to understand it, and thereby make it possible to have accurate knowledge of the environment to facilitate mobility and the perception by all its systems.

3D Lidar embedded on a drone

An autonomous robot that must operate without human supervision must know where it is (GNSS receiver), detect its immediate environment and eventual obstacles (3D Lidar), know its attitude in 3D space (inertial system) to adapt its movements, a compatible diagram for flying drones used to scan electricity lines.
